Long post

Hi all, it's been awhile since I updated, life is pretty dull round here most the time, haven't done much scrappin' lately, mojo has been on holiday, but my hooks & needles have been flying lately so following are a few of my finished items. 1st up is the jumper I finished the other day, still undecided whether to sell it or keep it, I'll wear it out trying it on, looking in the mirror & feeling disgusted with myself, for the extra kgs that I let creep on. Once again the photo doesn't do the colour justice, much nicer IRL.

No.2 is the blanket I crocheted for my great granddaughter, done in chenille yarn, so soft & cuddly, modelled by my reborn Amelia

No3 is the hooded cape that is knitted in the prettiest pink, like coconut ice, looks good enough to eat IRL, modelled by Sofia Rose.

No.4 is the cabled cardigan that I almost finished, so cranky that I run out of wool with only the the front bands to go. If any of you that read this have a mother, nan or auntie that happens to knit with Bendigo wool, and have any scraps of Alpaca Rich , Rich Rose, that I could buy, beg, borrow or whatever, I would be eternally grateful, the girls at the woollen mill can't help me there is no more of it in the store, if I can't find any the only alternative will be to unpick back down to the arm hole shaping and make it shorter and I really don't want to do that.

This is the label off the ball of yarn & all that I have left, which isn't much

I'll say bye for now & try to be a better blogger & update more often in future, I have good intentions but don't seem to carry them out, as my Dear old Mum used to say " The road to hell is paved with good intentions, so they say"
Susan if you reading this HAPPY BIRTHDAY !! fro Friday You will have reached a big milestone on the 3rd Sept. (I won't give away u r secrets LOL)
